For a new band such as Morningwood, with a name like Morningwood, a Parental Advisory sticker would exlude stores such as best buy, walmart, and certain other major chains from ordering the record. While that may not seem like a big deal, what that does is it forces the record label to make half as many records, and sell them for full price. At this point, we felt that it was more important to get the music out there, and make it as accessible as possible, and to do so, it meant bleeping one word. This is why you can get the record for $6.99 this week. Otherwise you might have to travel three towns over to get it for $15.99, and only if the other 2 copies available hadnt been purchased yet.

We all struggled with the idea, and on our side of things we certainly dont like to be censored in anyway, but the band all agreed that it didnt make sense to be hindered by one word, and as Chantal put it: "It doesnt take a lot of imagination to know what curse word rhymes with stuck".
